Narrogin is an aerotow operation which means that gliders are towed into the air by a powered aircraft called a tug. The people who fly tugs are known as tuggies.
| Our tug aircraft is a Piper Pawnee 235 with the call-sign: VH-TUG or Tango Uniform Gulf. Many Gliding Clubs have tugs, but ours is the only one whose tug is officially called TUG! |
